You Make Us Different
At Lloyds Banking Group, we’re looking for people with personal passions, independent ideas and open minds. We’ll give you an experience that’s more than an internship. It’s a role that matters. You’ll help us to be the best bank for customers, and help Britain prosper.
We are one of the nation’s biggest banks. Our prestigious brands include Lloyds Bank, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and Scottish Widows. The opportunities for interns are as broad as our business.

We offer 10-week summer internship programmes in our key People Strategy areas - HR and Digital Banking.
Your journey
With real responsibilities from day one, you’ll probably work on a number of different projects. You will certainly develop impressive business acumen, plus specialist skills in your chosen area. What’s more, you’ll get an insider’s understanding both of the business area you work in, and its impact on our whole Group. And you’ll have tangible achievements to show for all your experience.
Impress us, and you could secure a place on one of our People Strategy graduate programmes.
Learning and development
You’ll benefit from strong support by managers and colleagues in your day to day role. You can look forward to a combination of tailored and universal training - from leadership and customer experience to engagement, communication and negotiation. We also have a whole host of excellent online resources, designed to help you achieve your potential.
