Wearing our famous blue uniform you will lead activity sessions, share your love of sports and the outdoors, initiate sing-alongs around the camp fire, and ensure our guest have the time of our lives. While you’re doing all that, you’ll have a fantastic experience of your own which will enrich your life forever.

What do we look for in our Outdoor Activity Instructors?

· Experience of working with children and young adults is desirable.

· Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

· The ability to work with a team of Instructors to ensure our guests enjoy their PGL experience.

· Responsible people who are organised and can communicate effectively with guests and staff.

Training

All of PGL’s Outdoor Activity Instructors undergo a comprehensive 10 day training programme. Your aptitude during this course, along with skills and experience given on your application, will determine whether your role will be made up mainly of instructing activities, or more group leading activities.

As a first year Outdoor Activity Instructor, you will be on our Foundation Programme and will be working towards a Level 2 Certificate in Introductory Work in the Outdoors.

If you are working overseas we also provide return transport from a UK departure point as part of your employment package.

This is a residential job role with staff accommodation provided on centre and is available at numerous locations across the UK, France and Spain.
