Job Description
A new sales and operational role to support the Hop Farm team to increase business and help to manage large events. Your duties will include: -
• Contacting potential leads and following up
• Selling to members of the public and other organisations.
• Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required.
• Take phone calls & be confident in dealing with staff, clients and other agencies.
• Take responsibility for all the administrative requirements of the organisation as directed by the Manager
• Monitor & input data
• Liaise with partner organisations in relation to booking/confirming appointments
• Spend time in the different operational units to get a full understanding of the business needs and offers to create strong sales
You will, at times need to be flexible and operate on the floor where operational duties will be undertaken i.e. at Christmas time when business tends to close down, office team will be called upon to assist Operations in executing functions or a festival.
Personal Qualities : Efficient and have good interpersonal and organisational skills. Flexibility in times and job roles and a can do attitude
Skills Required : Ability to work on own initiative, strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and high level of attention to detail
Future Prospects : There is the possibility of a permanent position at the successful completion of your apprenticeship. At the very least you will have gained all the necessary skills, experience and qualifications to progress in a career in this industry.
