Hours: 8.30am - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday during school holidays
Dates: 13th July - 28th August (part and full seasons considered)
Salary: £255 - £325 per week

Art Activity Instructor
The role of ArtActivity Instructor is to deliver outstanding, structured arts & crafts activities to groups of children on our Ultimate Activity Camps. You will be expected to deliver (with supporting resources) activities to children aged between 6 and 14 years, with the emphasis being on participation, structure, and development. You will also have a pastoral role, being the group leader and key contact for one of the groups of children on camp.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver activities for children aged 6-14, focussing on participation, development, and enjoyment.
- Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to by yourself and the children in your care, including health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
- Help to set up The Ultimate Activity Camp by attending a Camp Induction Day.
- Take a pastoral role as a group leader, welcoming new children into your group and liaising with the Camp Manager and/or parents as necessary.
- Supervision of children outside of activity times.
- Other ad-hoc duties (cleaning, equipment maintenance/ordering etc.)

Qualifications

Requirements:
- Qualified in or working towards relevant Art and/or Teaching Qualification, with experience of working with children.
- Enthusiastic, energetic individual, passionate about working with, and developing children through play and activity.
- Experienced in coaching/teaching, able to tailor delivery and structure according to age and ability.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Flexible, team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
