Job Spec
To work in a busy and vibrant environment within the Rural Payment Agency assisting with customer enquiries and supporting the Basic Payment Scheme.
Handle incoming calls from customers answering queries and providing support.
Provide accurate information in a professional and helpful manner by collecting and assessing relevant data and information.
Reply to internal and external customer correspondence by post and email.
Manage and resolve customer cases in line with guidance and using relevant internal systems.
Arrange and carry out call backs to customers when required.
Use various computer systems to update maintain and create customer records.
Record and update claim application data in line with guidance and using relevant systems.
To share good working practices and identify any risks to line manager.
To demonstrate flexibility and contribute effectively to ensure that all KPI s service levels and targets are met.
Work in an organised manner using own knowledge

Hours Monday Friday 37 hours, Between 8.15 start 17.15 finish, to accommodate the business demands between 8.30am and 5pm.
