Job Description
Contract and remuneration:
- 4 weeks with a possible extension
- 42 hours a week
- Pay scale: £275-£285 a week, paid fortnightly in arrears
- Full board and accommodation provided free of charge for all residential staff
Job overview:
The AL is responsible for the smooth and successful delivery of the activities programme (co-ordinated by the HSA). The role of the AL is pivotal to the promotion and delivery of the activity programme, ensuring students are motivated and all activities are run to a high standard. The AL is responsible for making sure that all students are involved in the various activities, paying special attention to the individual students.
Job tasks:
- Organise and implement a wide range of activities and excursions as directed by the HSA
- Be enthusiastic and motivated in delivering the activity programme
- Ensure students attend the set activities and attendance records are accurate
- Maintain student behaviour, safety and welfare.
- Carry out residential duties on a rota basis, including meal supervision, lights-out duties, room checks and additional duties as required
- Applicants holding specialist qualifications will be required to undertake duties such as pool duties/sports coaching and first aid provision*
