Following the success of Threadneedle’s 2020 Recruitment Campaign in 2013 we are pleased to be part of the 2020 2014 scheme. This initiative is used by leading UK investment firms to offer hundreds of young people from diverse backgrounds a first job in the City.

Threadneedle’s 20:20 Programme

The Threadneedle Trainee Programme will offer a paid year-long placement for school leavers, graduates and those seeking their first role in the City. In 2014 our five Trainees will gain industry experience whilst enjoying the development opportunities offered to all Threadneedle employees through our Threadneedle Training Curriculum. The Trainee Programme is designed to equip Trainees with the necessary skills to secure permanent work at the end of the year. They will be considered for a permanent position within Threadneedle, and even if they are not offered a position here, the experience and business knowledge gained will leave them strongly placed to find work elsewhere. Roles Available

There are many areas for our successful candidates to join:

• Investments team
• Distribution and sales
• Three rotational infrastructure programme across two areas

Trainees will be paid a base salary of £18,000 during their year-long placement. In addition, Trainees will receive a £2,000 relocation payment at the start of their placement to support the cost of living in London. Trainees will also receive benefits.

Whilst technical ability and academic success is important we also look at an applicant's broader capabilities which might include fluency in a local language, or an ability to work as part of a team, and to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
