Super Camps run multi activity day camps for children aged 4 – 14 years and we pride ourselves on delivering exciting camps that children love and parents trust. Reporting to your Camp Manager, an Activity Instructor will be assigned to lead a group of children through a range of different arts and sports activities. Activity Instructors will be required to adapt their skills and experiences to working with children of a variety of ages, backgrounds and abilities whilst catering for their individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to processes and procedures whilst the children in your care continually have a fun, stimulating and safe time
- Plan and deliver a variety of activities with structure and enthusiasm and encourage maximum participation of the children in the group
- Manage the exchange of all relevant information regarding children in your care to the Camp Manager
- Deliver a structured and enjoyable activity for the children period during drop off and pick up times
- Actively supervise the children during breaks and lunch times
- Additional duties will include registering crews, cleaning and kit maintenance etc
Qualifications

- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must have previous experience working with children
- Ideally qualified or studying towards a sports, coaching, creative, teaching or childcare qualification
- Experience and interest in sports and/or arts
- Enthusiastic and organised with excellent communication skills and good sense of initiative
- Flexible team player willing to take on various tasks as required
Selection and Appointment Process:
Short listed candidates will be invited to a telephone interview and if selected for employment will be required to:
- Complete the Super Camps online introductory training programme
- Attend a Super Camps Central Training and Assessment Day held at a number of locations across the UK (unpaid)
- Attend a Camp Specific Training and Set Up Day at the location at which you will be working (monetary bonus for attendance paid upon completion of contract)
- If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
- You must be able to speak English fluently
