| ABOUT US We are a fast growing UK search engine marketing and new media specialist. As a major part of our business, we produce content for clients in a wide variety of industries. Our client base is growing extremely fast and we need more freelance writers. We have a good reputation, happy clients and we are an ethical and friendly, firm. REQUIREMENT AND DURATION We are looking for a significant number of versatile writers (and potentially a little administrative help as well – see below - but the writing requirement is by far the most urgent). We need absolute fluency in British English with a resident's knowledge of the UK and British lifestyles. This is an ongoing, long-term role - full or part time. If you can produce a minimum of ten 500 word pieces per month we would be keen to hear from you. There is no upper limit. We have a number of writers who produce many hundreds of pieces on a monthly basis. SUBJECT AREAS – MANY URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR IMMEDIATE START New engagements come in daily. We produce high quality content in almost all major commercial and retail categories and have ongoing and long-term requirements in subjects including: cars & automotive; sports; extreme sports; clothing, shoes & fashion; travel; property sales and letting; gadgets & electronics; DIY and home repairs; computing and information technology; business and finance; retail finance; pets & animals; outdoor pursuits including camping, mountain biking, hiking and walking; mobile phones, ADSL and broadband; consumer electrical and white goods; bingo; betting and gambling and many more . PARTICULARLY URGENT AREAS We also have particularly strong demand for writers with a good working knowledge of web design; search engine optimisation (SEO); link building; content writing for search; search engine management (SEM); paid search (PPC); affiliate marketing; blogging and social media optimisation (SMO); and other search-related themes. RATES PER WORD AND THE NATURE OF THE WORK We operate in a highly competitive global market and our rates reflect this. Word rates are agreed individually, reflecting your experience and other factors including client engagements and market sectors. If you are expecting premium rates, this is not going to be suitable for you. However, in addition to students, academic staff and established freelance writers, some members of our current team are published authors; others are script writers for television: all of whom regard our ability to provide regular work on a long-term basis as a useful back-fill to their main writing work. Our engagements are primarily long-term with a wide range of clients and deadlines. Deadlines range from a day or two through to 3 weeks or more depending on the client and the nature of the work. As you can imagine, adherence to deadlines is vital so reliability is essential. Work is managed and entered via our own online systems which greatly simplifies things and reduces the administrative burden for you. Most writers research their material online and at a far less intense level than that required for academic research. We work on an assumed output of some 1000-1500 words per hour but of course this varies by writer and subject area. ADMINISTRATIVE WORK We are also interested in hearing from anyone able to help us with various administrative tasks. These primarily involve using our online systems to perform repetitive tasks where, however, intelligence and accuracy are essential. Most of these tasks are time critical requiring turnaround within 24-48 hours. For those of you interested in these areas either instead of or in addition to writing (we are interested in both), please include "Admin" in your subject areas when using our online registration system and be sure to include your hourly rate. If you have experience in link building, this would also be of particular interest.
