At Innovate we began a revolution in school catering. We believe that school catering has been trapped in a time warp for far too long. It hasn't worked for pupils, staff, local authorities or caterers.

Innovate Services is rapidly expanding company who rip out the old school canteens and create a modern coffee shop environment serving freshly made, healthy food and drinks.

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team.

General Catering Assistants

£6.00 per hour

2 positions 7am – 4pm

1 position 8.30am – 4pm

Term-time only (44 weeks per year)

Based at The Longhill High School, Falmer Road,Rottingdean, BN2 7FR

As a General Catering Assistant you will assist in the smooth and efficient running of the catering unit. You will prepare and cook food for sale each day (including making sandwiches, salads, hot meals and rolls).

You will also display all products for sale, use the tills and ensure sales are at the maximum at all times. You will carry out cleaning tasks as required and before leaving each day.

You will be able to communicate in English (spoke and written) with students and staff, and be willing to undertake all training supplied by the company.
