Job Description
Door to Door Fundraiser: We have fundraiser positions available in many parts of the country. The role of a door to door fundraiser requires a commitment of five evenings per week 17:30 – 20:30hrs Monday to Friday. There is some flexibility to the days worked (ask at the interview) however the hours are not negotiable. Door to Door fundraisers can earn an excellent income from this part time position. Fundraisers are employed directly by Greenmann Ltd and receive all the normal benefits of paid employment. Fundraisers work from January to the end of October so this is a temporary position, many fundraisers return to us each year as the new season begins. About Us: Greenmann Ltd currently fundraise across the UK for THe Woodland Trust The Wildlife Trusts and The RSPB. The Wildlife Trusts membership currently stands at almost 700,000 members. Greenmann Ltd has secured over 110,000 of these long-term members. Our soft and non-intrusive approach to fundraising allows people to make an informed decision to whether they decide to become donors. Our staff are trained in a method which is friendly, open and honest. We simply identify people who already have interest in wildlife conservation and ask them to consider joining the charity. Our two step, door to door approach: It is our approach which takes the pressure off the fundraiser and also the potential donor. The Location: We start our fundraisers in a location close to where they live, but after the initial training period fundraisers may be required to move further a field - in which case we pay a petrol allowance. Hours of Work: Evenings - Monday to Friday 17.30 - 20.30 There is some flexibility. Weekend work is also an option, please discuss this at interview. The Pay: We have an extremely good basic wage and a very rewarding bonus scheme. On target earnings are £350 per week, a good fundraiser could well achieve and exceed this level – dedication to the work and our methods are needed to attain this level of remuneration What next? If you are successful a training session at the Trust office will follow at a mutually convenient time. Once you begin fund-raising we will give you ongoing support both at the door and on the phone to help you to become a successful fundraiser. Greenmann Ltd was conceived with the aims of “Quality, Sustainability and Openness”. In the past twenty years our staff have helped secure funding of more than £50 million.

Qualifications Required
Your Skills and Attributes: We are looking for people who have good communication skills and who like meeting and talking with people of all backgrounds. You must be organised, self motivated and have an enthusiastic nature. We give all the training necessary for you to be an effective fundraiser all you need to provide is the energy, the commitment and the enthusiasm. A car or motorbike is needed for this position. You must be eligible to work in the UK You must be able to speak English fluently
