Job Description
Our client Vertex, a household name in the UK contact centre industry, are seeking part time customer service advisors (inbound call centre operator) to work in their state-of-the-art M&S call centre based in Sale, Manchester.​
Part time positions are to cover 4-5 evenings per week 1700-2100 OR 1900-2300.​ Candidates must be flexible to work any 4 or 5 days out of 7.​

Job Responsibilities:
As a customer service advisor, you will be:
* Handling inbound calls from existing customers
* Answering queries on their range of products and services
* Responding to email correspondence from M&S customers
* Handling complaints
* Making courtesy calls to customers
Preferred Skills:
* Previous experience of the customer service sector would be advantageous, but not essential
* Good PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Previous experience of using a database system (full training will be provided on their system)
* English and Maths at GCSE standard or equivalent
* Excellent telephone manner
* High standard of written english

* Warm and welcoming telephone manner
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Must have ability to empathise and listen actively to customers' needs

Normal working week is 20-25 hours based on a changing 4/​5 day shift pattern, Monday to Sunday, between 5pm and 11pm.​
