Job Description
Wesser is a door-to-door charity fundraising organisation working on behalf of St. John Ambulance in the UK. Every year we provide hundreds of temporary jobs especially suited for young people who all want to work for a good cause, earn well, gain experience and simply have an enjoyable time. We provide live-in accommodation for all of our fundraisers making this ideal work for students or for travellers and backbackers from abroad. You will be expected to join one of our many teams across the UK, every team consists of 5-8 fundraisers including a team leader. Wesser provides accommodation for the team so you will need to have the team skills and the ability to integrate well in to the working and living environment provided. Working door-to-door in resdential areas you will speak to members of the public promoting the charity and the work of St John Ambulance, signing them as supporters of the charity who would contribute by giving an annual donation. The role of a promotional fundraiser is both challenging and rewarding, you will need to speak excellent english and possess exquisit communication skills. You will also need to be physically fit and prepared to work outdoors in all weather come snow, rain or shine. Wesser rewards all of our fundraisers with a great basic fee of £6.50 per hour plus further commission and bonuses including free accommodation upon hitting the minimum target required. We are currently accepting applications for promotional fundraisers wanting to start work at any period from September - December 2007.

Qualifications Required
This job is all about personality, you do not have to be a stand up comedian but you do need to be bright, bubbly, energentic and have the ability to talk passionatly about the charity you represent.
