Job Description

PGL are recruiting passionate French speakers to deliver our various Language products and bring Language to life in 2015.

PGL is the UK's market leading provider of activity holidays and study courses for young people with fantastic career development and training opportunities. We have been offering young guests the experience of a lifetime since 1957 and now operate at 24 locations across the UK, France and Spain.

We have employment opportunities for fluent French-speakers, graduates of French and students looking for a sandwich year work placement in France at our activity centre s in Normandy and Nord Pas de Calais. Flexible-length contracts are available, but we look for people who can ideally start in April.

We are looking for people who speak French to take groups on excursions and day trips, immerse our groups in French Culture or work in the office, based at our centres in Northern France.

As a Tour Leader you'll guide and inspire our guests as they indulge themselves in another culture. From historic landmarks to rustic markets, you'll accompany visiting school groups on excursions to famous places of interest. We’ll provide training to help you develop an in-depth knowledge of the excursion destinations;

Key responsibilities:

· You’ll liaise with the Party Leader to coordinate their weekly itinerary;

· Accompany the group on excursions ensuring their visits run as smoothly as possible;

· Make travel arrangements and booking tickets etc. according to the itinerary;

· Organise and run evening entertainment programmes.
