Job Description

Our continually expanding client, an ambitious management accountants based in Cheshire, is looking for a Data Services Administrator to join their team.

You will deliver an excellent administration service for customers and provide effective support for all new and re joining customers in line with their expectations, company procedures and statutory requirements. You will report to the Operations Team Leader and will often liaise directly with the customer in order to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer facing environment, will be able to manipulate data, produce reports on the findings and will have great attention to detail.

Main duties include

Process new joiners and all joining documentation accurately and within agreed timescales
Send out joining and welcome information to new customers
Apply for all necessary registrations i.e. PAYE CT accurately and within agreed timescales
Ensure that applications where the agency and client contract requires approval via our legal partners are managed effectively
Follow up with the Compliance team any unknown agencies and keep New Business up to date with progress
Maintain the customer records databases with accurate information and provide information on request to relevant departments for customer mailings etc
Record and process correspondence in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
Process all HMRC post in accordance with Technical HMRC guidelines
Ensure that appropriate follow up action is taken when dealing with customer queries or issues
Maintain electronic and manual records in line with business procedures and statutory requirements and scan all paperwork on a daily basis
Undertake training as and when required and be receptive to it

We are looking for

Experience in customer facing role
The ability to manipulate data and to provide reports on the findings
Attention to detail and achieves accuracy at all levels
Committed team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision
Positive and proactive approach to work with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Fully conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel able to do V look up s pivot tables
GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above

In return you can expect

Salary 16k
Holidays 23 days plus bank holidays and day off for your birthday. After 2 years service this increases to 25 days and to 27 after 5 years service
Auto enrolment into the pension scheme after 3 months service with an employer contribution of 5 of basic pay. Employees are not required to contribute
