Job Description
RJ Wyatt is currently looking for an Apprentice Dairy Farmer to work alongside Mr Wyatt. The Farm houses 150 milking cows. This is a family run farm and therefore the successful apprentice will be fully involved in milking, animal care such as feeding, watering and maintaining accommodation.

You will also be involved in monitoring the health and wellbeing of the animals and assisting with animal movement.
There will be yard duties, some tractor work (not essential), grassland management and general other duties given to you by the Farmer.
Applicant Profile:
We are keen to hear from applicants with an active interest in Farming, particularly Dairy Farming and Agriculture. You will be hard working, conscientious, reliable and interested to learn and passionate about gaining employment within a farming environment.

As this is a 6am start public transport will be difficult. This is expected to be 30 hours a week minimum by agreement with the Farmer and be aware that some weekend work may be required.
The Farmer is hopeful that will be a permanent position for the right person upon completion.
