There are two roles we are recruiting for; Local Political Resource manager AND Local History Resource Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic Politics / Sociology / History (or similar) student or recent graduate seeking to build on a wide set of professional and interpersonal competencies - Such research, consultancy, politics, education, leadership, and report writing skills.
For Local Politics: Duties include collating political resource online, arranging appointments and talking to councillors, visiting them, getting pictures and videos, creating engaging, interactive and interesting local political education for the mobile application and website.
For Local History: Duties include collating historical and heritage information online, arranging appointments with knowledgeable local residents, interacting with Heritage foundation - creating engaging and interactive local historical resource in modern media formats (ie mobile applications)

This is a fixed term job - work is entirely flexible around your free time. You shall work in or lead a team of other volunteer, training and team building sessions will be hosted Mid-Jan onwards.

Qualifications

Ideally Politics or some form of Research/ Sociology/ History based studies
The person must be comfortable talking to clients
Must be able to work autonomously - If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
- You must be able to speak English fluently
- You must be currently living within a commutable distance of this vacancy
