Job Description

A Traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience that is focused on giving young people the skills that employers are looking for. At its core are work preparation training, English and maths for those who need it, and a high quality work experience placement.



Traineeships help unlock your great potential and give you the work preparation training, maths and English and work experience needed to get an Apprenticeship or other job.



This Traineeship Opportunity, is UNWAGED Work Experience as part of an entry to work course



As part of the traineeship programme you will be given training and support to gain work experience in all aspects of administration, e.g. filing, faxing, answering the phone, email



Over the work experience you will become responsible for promoting and developing a positive culture and ensuring diversity within the school community is recognised.



You will also be trained to work flexibly and efficiently as part of a team and liaise closely with other team members, as well as the following:


  • Respect confidentiality

  • Uphold the standards of the setting at all times

  • Always maintain a calm, positive and professional approach when dealing with visitors and telephone enquiries

  • Maintain a tidy and organised office environment conducive to efficient working practices


Are you eligible?



1. Are you currently not in a job with little or no work experience?



2. Are you aged 16 to 18 and qualified below level 3 (A level) or aged 19 to 23 and not yet achieved a full Level 2 (5 GCSE's at grade C including maths and English
