Job Description

At Amway’s London Flagship Experience Centre part-time jobs are not just for Christmas, they're ongoing!

We're looking for 2 permanent part-time Retail Assistants to work with us on 3 evenings per week (a total of 9 hours per person per week).

You'll be responsible for managing our customers' expectations in the delivery of high standards of customer service, so you must have prior experience in a customer led role within retail. You will be involved in the following activities (amongst others):

  • handling cash and card transactions at the till points
  • resolving queries and answering calls
  • assisting with training and event arrangements (which may include some manual handling requirements)
  • stock replenishment
  • working with a small team to assist with a variety of customer requests

The ability to work and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment and think on your feet is vital. You must be highly presentable, punctual, reliable and have a "can-do" attitude. You'll enjoy helping and talking with people, will be articulate, and have an eye for detail. No two days are ever the same when working at Amway, and you'll be challenged and stretched on a daily basis.To be considered for the role you must:

  • have previous experience of working in a customer led role within retail
  • have previous cash handling experience
  • have a good standard of general education, and be fluent and well-spoken in English
  • demonstrate first class communication and customer service skills
  • have a calm and positive manner, and “can-do” attitude
  • be highly presentable, with a friendly and approachable personality

These are permanent roles to be worked throughout the year, not just during term-time.

You must be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for these roles.

Qualifications

  • have previous experience of working in a customer led role within retail

    have previous cash handling experience

    have a good standard of general education, and be fluent and well-spoken in English

    have a calm and positive manner, and “can-do” attitude

    be highly presentable, with a friendly and approachable personality

  • If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
  • You must be able to speak English fluently
