Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB ROLE



We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and self-motivated apprentice to co-ordinate our organisation's social media and digital marketing as well as contribute to other aspects of the business as a whole.



The successful proactive and organised applicant, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, will express creative flare and contribute many new and exciting ideas. They will promote our organisation's brand and services as well as that of our clients, using all relevant social media tools and techniques, with the aim to increase our organisation's client base and website traffic.



Although you may have limited knowledge and experience at the start of your employment, you will gain experience and knowledge required to ensure that you undertake the following duties through your experience with our organisation and the training provided by Baltic Training Services.



MAIN DUTIES:



• To ensure that you remain aware of all social media policies and guidelines that can impact our organisation

• To effectively communicate and engage with, and creatively and proactively assist our organisation's current clients and potential future clients

• To conduct and deliver qualitative and quantitative social media related research for our organisation and our clients

• To co-ordinate the content development and maintain our organisation's corporate blog, online social media platforms and website

• To assist with developing and managing the content of our clients’ accessible website, including the incorporation of Search Engine Optimisation and use of imaging software, and programming, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting and debugging web applications

• To help out in our dedicated content writing team if need be

• Run accurate reports on existing and potential clients to provide the team with quality information and insights

• Run our in-house software as part of our online marketing process

• Help out our in-house web development team if and when required

• Admin duties including booking travels, data entries, filing and maintaining documents





Essential Criteria




• Adhere to our organisation's Health and Safety and Equality and Diversity policies, other legislation and regulations in the working environment, plus codes of conduct, including good timekeeping, attendance, and behaving in a professional manner to promote our organisation’s brand and image

• Work effectively on your own initiative and as a team, and communicate and network effectively with fellow colleagues, clients and all other stakeholders to ensure that excellent working relationships are built and maintained

• Good verbal and written communication techniques

• A firm grasp of Mac operating system, Apple iWork products (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) and Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
