Job Description

Crown Golf is the UK’s largest golf club owner and operator with 25 golf clubs in the South East of England.

Sunbury Golf Centre is situated 5 minutes from Junction 1 M3 and offers the choice of 18 or 9 hole maturing parkland golf courses. It is also complemented by a 32 bay floodlit driving range, restaurant, bar and active function room providing events, weddings, conference and dining facilities.

We have an ideal internship/gap year opportunity for someone who is looking to forge a career in the hospitality food and beverage arena. This is a superb chance to get hands-on experience within a busy multi-faceted leisure facility.

Qualifications

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Working as a key holder/ duty manager, performing all the necessary opening or closing due diligence procedures
    • To achieve maximum budgeted sales in the club
    • To ensure the preparation and operation of all food services and service areas is carried out to the standards set by the Club.
    • To control all stocks as applicable to the service areas including all crockery, tableware and glasses.
    • Accurate recording and communication of charges and tills
    • Supervision, training and development of all waiting and bar staff
    • Completing weekly timesheets, health and safety records and checklists as assigned by the head of department
    • To attend any training courses and meetings arranged by the company
    • Through training, development and monitoring - ensure a consistent high standard of service is maintained through the F&B department
    • Check on all stock levels and provide proposed orders in line with company budget and business levels
    • Implement the company feedback/ complaint procedure
    • Health & Safety
