An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading aerospace company. The appointed Electrical Design Engineer will be part of the design team designing electrical systems for leading product rages.
Key Requirements for the Electrical Design Engineer;
- Relevant degree essential
- Good working knowledge of electrical drawings in CAD
- CVE or working towards becoming a CVE
- The ideal candidate will have around 3 years post graduate experience ideally gained within the Aerospace Industry and must be capable of being a signatory within 2 years.
The Role; the appointed Electrical Design Engineer will carry out the following tasks;
- Work within a design team developing designs, and developing and designing innovative electrical solutions focusing on BOM costs, manufacturing hours, weight reduction. This will be completed under the guidance of a Lead Engineer and Certification team
- Drawing responsibilities.
o Wiring diagrams.
o Electrical Load Analysis
o General arrangement drawings.
o Electrical panel assembly and detail metalwork.
o Loom drawings.
o Component mounting details.
- Support
o Support problem solving during manufacturing build process and functional testing.
o Customer Support
- Design of the bonding systems are to be to the appropriate Boeing or Airbus specifications and also ensuring that all aspects of the relevant airworthiness and public health requirements are in compliance.
