Job Description
- Comply with the home’s Health & Safety, COSHH and Environmental Health & CQC Regulations.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings, supervision and appraisal
- Maintain confidentiality on all aspects of care.
- Comply with the company policies and procedures.
- Accompany service user to appointments and attend care planning meetings.
- Assist service user with personal care as per daily living needs outlined in users individualised care plans.
- Report of relevant changes to the service users condition to senior staff.
- Assist in the physical care and support of people with learning difficulties providing person-cantered care whilst supporting senior staff.
- Promote care and social inclusion.
- Report any maintenance defects.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with the home’s waste disposal policy.
- Respond to calls for assistance and answer the front door and telephone.
- Take part in all proposed training.
- Keep all areas clean and tidy.
- Perform other duties not listed above as requested by management and within your capability.
