Job Description
The successful applicant will work as part of a team in the office where you will undertake a range of duties such as:
Provide administrative support to promote the successful delivery of the Community Development Service programmes.
• Answer incoming telephone calls from members of the public and other organisations
• Photocopying, filling, faxing
• Ensure records are kept up-to-date
• With training, inputting and maintaining data on relevant database
• Production of letters and mail merge
• Preparing packs of information
• General word processing and document production
• Attending and supporting at community events
• Supporting the team with events planning tasks
Under direction, support activities which will promote effective partnerships within the community and local organisations, such as attending summer festivals and engaging with volunteers. This will involve dealing with members of the community on a face to face basis.
