| Are you interested in working at ‘The Home of Cricket’? MCC are looking for bright and enthusiastic people to join their stewarding and customer care team for the 2010 Season. The MCC aim to provide spectators with an unrivalled experience in a safe and secure environment at Lord’s Cricket Ground during the 2010 cricket season, April – September. There are a variety of stewarding positions available within the Ground. Plus opportunities for SIA Licensed individuals to join the security team. Stand Stewards are involved in providing information, customer service and monitoring health and safety in the public viewing areas. Turnstile Stewards and ticket sellers are an extremely important part of our service as they are the first point of contact for Members and patrons on arrival to the Ground. A Turnstile Steward’s main responsibilities are the control of both entry and exit from the Ground. Search Stewards will undertake routine searches of patrons entering the Ground. There are a variety of security positions available, for SIA Licensed individuals, within the Ground including: searching on entry to the Ground; response teams; crowd control; player protection and pitch perimeter protection. We need bright, enthusiastic people to ensure that everyone who comes to Lord's has a great, safe day at the cricket. Interested applicants must be physically fit and be over the age of eighteen. You must also be in possession of a valid visa or working permit for the UK. This is a temporary position and successful applicants will only be required on match days. Full training will be given.
