The two main aims of the site are to deliver the UK’s definitive and independent gig listing, and to build a network of Live Music fans sharing their gig experiences. GigJunkie aggregates gig listings and ticket information from across the web and enables users to add to the listings. GigJunkie users get alerts in real time as their favourite artists announce tours and can compare tickets from all ticketing agents ensuring they get the best price and the best chance of getting tickets before they sell out. GigJunkies can also meet people, post reviews and photos, and win amazing live music experiences. GigJunkie compiles the ultimate gig ticket listing by aggregating data from all of the UK’s concert ticket agents. Including Ticketmaster, See Tickets, We Got Tickets, Ticketline, Gigantic, Crowdsurge, Viagogo, Get Me In and Seatwave. Over the past 3 years live music has become the fastest growing sector within the Leisure & Entertainment industry. This is mainly as a result of the falling trends in recorded music sales, coupled with the fact that there has been a social shift with people choosing the real LIVE band experience. Would help if you love live music aswell, as you will have the opportunity to go to as many gigs as you like and loads of free nights out food & drink at industry events. You must be eligible to work in the UK
