This placement would suit young people in 16-18 years looking to enter a career in the childcare sector.
Main duties will include:
*Assisting Playworker team
*Helping out with snack time
*making sure the children are in a safe & happy environment.
The work experience part of the programme will run alongside an educational skills building course with MIC.
Once you have completed your traineeship programme you will progress into your chosen childcare sector as an apprentice.

Future Prospects : Once the Traineeship programme has been completed, you will receive a full reference from your placement this can be used when progressing onto your Apprenticeship.
Manchester International College will progress you onto a Full time Playworker Apprenticeship which will last for a minimum of 12 months.
After successful completion of the Traineeship course, you will receive a certificate of
completion and a letter of reference as a minimum, to support future job applications.
