Gatwick Home Tutors is a local home tutoring business (part of the Summit Home Tutors network) that provides one to one tuition in the East Surrey and West Sussex area around Gatwick. We cover Dorking, Reigate, Redhill, Oxted, Crawley, Horley, East Grinstead and the surrounding villages. We are currently looking for local home tutors for all subjects (Maths, English, Science, Languages, Music and all general interest subjects too) at a range of levels (KS1, KS2 (and 11+), KS3, GCSE, A-Level and adult). You will work in a self-employed capacity which means you are responsible for your own tax and national insurance. If you have not done this before we can advise you on getting set up. It is quite straightforward. You need to be educated to degree level and either have a recent enhanced DBS check in place or be prepared to acquire one (we can help with this). You also need to be able to travel to clients’ homes in order to carry out the tutoring, although there may be limited work for tutors who prefer to work from their home. Hourly rates are negotiable. You must have 2 years experience of teaching or tutoring and be able to provide 2 references. Hours can be flexible to suit your needs. Please complete our online application form .
