Met Traders is a leading financial futures house, specialising in proprietary trading in the fixed income and commodity markets. We go straight to the market to earn our return, rather than relying on commission from someone else’s deals

We have our own model for successful trading, created by our founders, based on a combination of techniques and fundamentals.

With many years' experience in futures trading we are one of the most respected futures houses. We have been considered as one of the leading proprietary trading firms across the world’s top derivative exchanges for more than a decade.

Based in West Hampstead our office is extremely well connected by train, tube and road, with its own identity and local amenities – a dynamic alternative to the traditional City environment.

There is no typical Met Trader. All we’re interested in is your ability and commitment. We are not a big bank with layers of management and protocol. Our environment is flexible and informal. You’ll have all the screens you need and experience all around you. We trade, pure and simple.

While some new traders do make it big quickly, it’s rare. It usually takes 12 months to start making substantial earnings, so you must be able to support yourself initially.

Our eight-week intensive training programme combines theory and practice, with daily testing and assessment. You’ll learn everything you need to know to trade the Futures and FX markets:

Developed by Met Traders and the Trading & Development Consultant, Gansham Halai, our course is based on our proven trading model and is well respected throughout the industry. A perfect blend of theory and practice, it is a thorough course covering technical and fundamental analysis while also helping you develop and understanding of trading psychology, risk management and trading discipline – all essential skills to become a successful trader. It is constantly evolving to ensure that it is relevant, dynamic and right up to date with new policies, and regulations that may affect the markets. In just eight weeks of intensive training, you will learn everything you need to become a successful trader.

Unlike many others, our training course is free. In return, you must commit to 12 months of trading with us on a minimal, target-based salary. As with an internship, you must be able to support yourself during this time. Think of this as a Masters Degree programme condensed into eight intense weeks. After that, you’re off, trading for real, and it’s down to your nerve and discipline.
