Beaverbrooks is a British chain of jewellery stores which has been a feature of the UK high street for around a hundred years. They have more than 60 stores in various locations and employ over 850 staff in full and part time retail roles.

Beaverbrooks is a regular feature in the Sunday Times ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ list, making the Top 10 in most years, and even topping the list in 2009.

Beaverbrooks started out just after the First World War in May 1919 as a family run business and has kept close to its roots over the decades since its inception. The jewellery firm was originally run by three brothers - Harry, Isaac and Maurice Adlestone - who left England to sell their goods on the streets of Belfast, Northern Ireland. After opening their first store in Belfast a few years later, they replicated the model back in England, with North West outlets in Blackpool and Manchester.
