Let Me Play is a sports, education and outreach organisation that specifically works with young people to achieve positive outcomes. Positive because this is who we are and how we want our offering to be. We believe in the power of education and positive activities, therefore all of our programmes are created to divert young people from negative influences and engage them in activities which help them to grow as individuals. This is made possible because we have a wonderful team of enthusiastic and professional people who are fully committed to the cause of widening horizons of young people. Established in 2004, by 2 Directors who still work day-to-day in the office, Let Me Play started off as specialist residential sports camp organisation and have now developed a vast range of education, coaching and teaching programmes that are relevant to schools, colleges and communities across the UK. The provision ranges from delivering on government-funded projects, programmes in schools to operating self-run education centres. All the work delivered at Let Me Play has very social aims with the overarching ambition to engage and empower young people to reach their potential. Each programme we deliver is designed to provide opportunity, formal/informal learning and develop soft skills. Our objectives are to continually deliver more programmes and in turn influence and provide positive outcomes for young people. Our client group includes local authorities, charities, housing associations, colleges, schools, partner organisations and individuals. We also work with several agencies who regularly refer young people to our programmes. We want to make an impact at 3 levels: Individual - meaning that we help as many individuals as we can. Social - having a positive impact on society. Strategic - meaning that we have a positive influence and contribute towards innovative and meaningful policies that have a wide reaching effect.
