What we do Hotcourses has a simple mission: to produce websites that make it easy for people to find the right school, college or university to pursue educational opportunities for themselves or their families. We believe in the fundamental importance of education as a way to expand opportunities and help people grow as human beings. We want to be the best in the world at helping people find the course that is right for them, whatever stage they are in life.
With offices in Chennai in India, Sydney in Australia, Boston in the US and London in the UK we are responsible for Britain's most popular independent-sector education website, Hotcourses.com, which provides information on courses, schools, colleges and universities aswell as funding opportunities and career options.
One of the best Hotcourses made it into ‘The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies To Work For’ list in 2012. The list was compiled from the views of over 246,000 employees from 828 different companies on everything from how well they got on with their managers to how far their company went towards supporting the environment.
Hotcourses came in at number 58 in the list and was also awarded a 3-star accreditation from the Best Companies Team. We were found to be above average in all eight key areas and we beat our scores from 2009 when we also made the list. In particular, we performed well for ‘My Manager’, ‘Wellbeing’ and ‘Giving something back’. The latter, a testament to the hard work of the Hotcourses Foundation which provides education for over 300 children in Kenya.
We’re really proud to be involved in such a prestigious competition and hope to keep up the great work for a long time to come.
