Company Details

The Professional Fundraiser raises money for charities by asking members of the public to donate a small but regular amount each month.

Currently working for the sole benefit of Cats Protection, the UK’s largest feline welfare charity, The Professional Fundraiser contributes to helping over 230,000 cats every year though the charity’s network of 250 volunteer locations, 29 adoption centres and by the steadfast dedication of their 8,000 volunteers.

In order to raise money The Professional Fundraiser enlists the help of teams of fundraisers who they recruit on a regular basis, always striving to ensure that the candidates employed have a genuine passion for the cause to maximise the amount they raise, and to maximise every fundraiser’s enjoyment and satisfaction in the job role.

The Professional Fundraiser only employs sensitive fundraising techniques and does not use sales trickery or pressure to sign people up to the charity. Instead all fundraisers will simply visit persons home, explain very briefly about the Charity leaving behind a small booklet that explains more about the Charity’s work, returning a couple of days later to collect the booklet and to ask whether the person would like to make a donation to the Charity.

Allowing fundraisers the flexibility and freedom as to their working hours, The Professional Fundraiser pays a very generous fee for every donor that a fundraiser recruits for the Charity allowing every fundraiser to earn in the region of £50 for just a few hours work in an evening.
