The Centre for Knowledge Transfer at London South Bank University have recently launched a new scheme called Knowledge Transfer Collaborations (KTC). This is perfect for a graduate looking for applied industry-based learning while gaining a recognised qualification from London South Bank University. The KTC programme will combine the advantage of a strong academic qualification and an excellent opportunity to develop skills highly sought after in the employment market, arising from such an applicable and relevant project.

A Knowledge Transfer Collaboration is a partnership between the University and an external company or organisation, which gives access to our wealth of expertise and is designed to help you improve your competitiveness and productivity through applying the knowledge, technology and skills available within the University. The collaboration centres around a research and development programme identified by the partner organisation. The partnership identifies a high quality, motivated graduate or postgraduate Associate who will undertake this agreed programme of research and development relevant to your priorities and objectives.

The student will be based primarily at the company they are researching for and will attend London South Bank University for the taught elements of this programme, and regular meetings with their supervisor.

The two year studentships comprises of:

- A relevant programme of research and development within a company

- Research and Development actually based at the company office

- Research leading to a higher degree and in-depth industry experience

- Tuition fees fully paid (for UK/EU Nationals)

- A generous tax free bursary
