A British business coaching company has been rewarded for their innovative approach to training in the workplace.

Meyler Campbell's Business Coach Programme, has won accreditation from the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC).

The business coaching firm brings together both tutors from academic backgrounds and mentors from business, as well as government and professional services, to provide training for individuals and whole companies on how best to improve their effectiveness.

Commenting of the official accreditation awarded by WABC, managing director of Meyler Campbell Anne Scoular said: "We are absolutely delighted – and exhausted, it has been a long and gruelling process."

"This is a well-deserved endorsement of our leading position in the market."

According to Michael Beale, director of Executive and Business Coaching, said a coach brings a new perspective to a clients situation and can push a company's self-imposed boundaries.

He claimed good managers have always coached their work colleagues.

The Coach and Mentoring Network said that increasingly, individuals are taking the future of their career into their own hands and are no longer relying on their employer to provide them with career development.
