It is looking for dedicated people who could help it achieve its "potential", according to the York Press.

The confectionary producer is looking for new staff as its York factory undergoes the most radical change in its history.

It is looking for operators and technicians to work at the factory and claimed that new employees would be offered "generous holidays", a final salary pension and performance-based bonuses.

Rowntree's was founded in York in 1862 by Henry
