AOL Broadband has announced that it is offering the first no-strings broadband deal available in the UK, ideal for students who do not want to commit to a long term contract.
When signing up to the Broadband Wireless Flexi package, users do not have to sign up for a designated time such as 12 months or 18 months.
Instead people buying the package can cancel their service at any time and are not obligated to pay for time they are not getting the broadband service for.
The deal is £14.99 a month and offers users eight mbps download speed depending on the location and quality of line of the consumer. The offer also includes a wireless router which is worth £50.
Earlier this week it was announced that Virgin is now offering broadband for just £10.
Users pay £10 a month for the first six months and then the price rises to £18 a month. The service offers a basic speed of two mbps.
The deal is even cheaper when bought in a package with a land line, with Virgin offering the service for £4.50 a month along in the that package.
