Nokia is reportedly in talks with Facebook to install the social networking site into its new handsets, giving students addicted to Facebook more opportunities to update their status or write on a friend's wall while on the move.
Although Facebook is already available via WAP phones as a standard website, Nokia is working on a deal which would see it installed onto the phones in the same way that the new iPhones incorporate YouTube.
It is thought that the deal would give Facebook a foothold in the mobile phone market as Nokia is one of the world's biggest mobile phone makers.
There are also rumours that Nokia is negotiating with Facebook over buying a stake in the company and an executive at Nokia has said that "a partnership is in the works".
Facebook already features a mobile phone application on the site which offers users the chance to upload photos, as well as a range of other features using a mobile.
Students who are currently looking to go into work after they graduate are well advised to get their Facebook fix before they enter the world of employment after a recent study.
The report, by Global Secure Systems, revealed that businesses in the UK are losing £6.5 billion annually due to employees wasting time on the social networking site.
