MBNA has announced that it has launched two new credit cards with bmi that may be of interest to students planning to travel the globe after their studies have finished.
The cards bother offer users a competitive rate of interest and travel rewards which can be used to fly with bmi.
Nigel Turner, chief executive officer at bmi said: "At bmi we're always working to offer our customers quality products and services. As a case in point our diamond club programme is the UK's most generous frequent flyer scheme."
He added that through bmi's partnership with MBNA, it has been able to ensure customers can take advantage of a "generous, market-leading credit card together with excellent customer service".
Customers who sign up for the first of the cards will be given 20,000 destinations miles if they spend £250 within 90 days of opening the account. This is enough miles for a trip to Europe and back.
Users who chose the second card will receive 24,000 destination miles for spending the same amount of money. Two destination miles will then be added on for every £1 that is spent using the card.
bmi is the second largest airline to fly out of Heathrow and is a member of Star Alliance, which offers 16,000 flights daily across the globe.
