Students looking to cut down the costs of having a car at university should take advantage of the free breakdown cover offered by Prudential.
This fantastic offer, available until the end of this year, gives the driver Green Flag cover on breakdowns worth £54 when taking out a policy, including a guaranteed courtesy car for those with comprehensive cover. Customers applying before December 31st this year will get a home call out provision, meaning that any problems can be sorted with barely any need to step outside the house.
Not only can students get this freebee when insuring their car with Prudential, the company also offers anyone buying their insurance online an automatic ten per cent discount.
For those who appreciate long term rewards, Prudential's 65 per cent no claims bonus comes as standard and will certainly be an extra enticement for money-savvy students.
Prudential states that as many as 59 per cent of people could save money if they switch to Prudential, and joining now could bring savings of up to £130 money that could be well spent elsewhere.
