Happy workers found to be sexier

16 Nov 2007

Happy workers found to be sexier Finding a job that you are happy in can improve your sex life, according to recent research.

It has been found that, after a good day at work, contented employees are twice as likely to have sex with their boyfriend or girlfriend.

The study also found that happy workers are twice as likely to steer clear of unhealthy food and take exercise.

Meanwhile, having a bad day at work can lead to 33 per cent of adults turning to alcohol for consolation, with 13 per cent needing a drag on a cigarette, the Jobsite survey found.

Nearly half of those asked said that a bad day at work has a negative impact on their health and home life, with a similar number saying they had at least one unpleasant day in their job every week.

Keith Potts, chief executive of the company, commented: "Close to a quarter of UK workers are currently unhappy with their job – and we are urging people to make sure they are happy at work because there are repercussions on their diet, well-being and happiness.

"If a good day at work is a rarity and a bad day is happening all too often we would encourage people to take some action."
