employees can benefit from 'proactivity'
15-Nov-2007

Employees can benefit from 'proactivity' Employee training outfit WiseUpAtWork has designed new ways to train workers to be proactive and confident, the company claims.

By using innovative methods that can be delivered over broadband, employees can be trained to better interact with their managers and get more out of their overall work experience.

When employees know how to interact with management and garner better working conditions, companies can better retain more staff.

Mike Healy, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, told onrec.com: "I believe that every employee should have the opportunity to influence his or her future career and be trained to make the most of that opportunity when it arises."

There are many situations where it would help if employees felt confident enough express themselves, such as appraisals, disciplinary hearings or redundancy meetings, added Mr Healy.

WiseUpAtWork's training programmes cost £19.99 each and take approximately 40 minutes each to complete.
