09 Nov 2007

Cadbury launches recruitment chatroom Cadbury Schweppes has launched a chatroom to allow future graduate recruits to learn more about the company.

Cadbury Schweppes is currently planning to recruit 20 graduates next year and the site allows potential applicants to contact current graduates working for the firm to enable the potential employees to learn more about the company.

The site, which originally allowed applicants to download MP3 files and read graduate blogs, also allows applicants to submit questions to the firm's graduate recruitment team.

Commenting on the initiative, Susan Coen, graduate resourcing adviser at Cadbury Schweppes, told Personnel Today: "We have introduced the live chatroom to our website as we are keen to embrace any new technology that can improve the candidate experience when researching our company as a potential future employer."

The firm says subjects that have been covered by the website include benefits packages and what social events are on offer.

Cadbury Schweppes employs 70,000 people and its brands include Cadbury, Dr Pepper and Bassett.
