most successful entrepreneurs named young guns
04-Oct-2007

Most successful entrepreneurs named Young Guns A list of the UK's top thirty young entrepreneurs has revealed a new abundance of innovative talents.

In its fifth year, the list, compiled by Growing Business magazine, celebrates the most successful young entrepreneurs of 2007 under the age of 35.

Successful entrants include Rob Small, whose online gaming company 'Miniclip' is now the second biggest privately-owned website in the world, just beaten by Facebook. This year's expected turnover for the site is an incredible £24 million.

However, it seems bright business brains are not only concerned with generating huge sales profits - many are involved in charitable causes.

Ringtones and mobile phone businessman, Alexander Amosu, runs a charity project called Mind of an Entrepreneur, helping encourage other like-minded people in local communities.

Ian Wallis, editor of Growing Business magazine, commented: "Each year we’re quite simply astonished by the level of entrepreneurial talent out there.

"We shouldn’t be, of course, as these youthful dynamos are driving the UK economy and will be the business minds behind many of the country’s most recognisable brands for years to come."

The thirty successful candidates were invited to a networking lunch earlier last month, followed by a photo shoot at Kensington Roof Gardens.
