Sport-loving students may be tempted by the latest broadband deal.
TalkTalk are currently offering two months' free subscription to the Setanta Sports channel when customers sign up for any broadband package.
Students and other users can take advantage of the offer until the end of August - and a Sagem FreeviewTM ITD68 Freeview box is included.
The free subscription includes live football from the Barclays Premier League and Scottish Premier League, as well as Motorsport and plenty of other live sports action.
The offer is available to both new and existing TalkTalk customers and requires sign-up to any broadband package available with Talk2 or Talk3 International.
After the initial two months free subscription, customers will pay £9.99 per month for the remainder of the contract.
However, students living in short-term accommodation may find the deal isn't suited to their needs.
Both contracts, with TalkTalk and Setanta, involve an 18 month contract period.
Competition among broadband providers remains fierce.
Earlier this summer, PC World and Orange announced they were offering free laptops, worth around £300, to those customers signing up for the Orange Starter broadband package.
