A one year old human resources firm says it will create 120 new jobs in Leicester before the end of the year.

Currently employing just 36 people, the recruitment drive will see HR specialist Growth Partners PLC more than quadruple its headcount in Leicester over the next seven months.

Growth Partners PLC assists other businesses in looking after their staff, but the firm is struggling to contain its own employee numbers. With such rapid growth since launching last May, the company now needs to take on new offices at its existing location in Leicester in order to accommodate its mushrooming staff.

The firm’s existing offices are around 400 square metres but they will now take on an extra 670 square metres at their Colton Square base so that they can add dozens more staff over the coming months.

As well as providing HR solutions, Growth Partners also offers other business support functions such as payroll and administration services.

Describing the rapid increase in staff at his firm, Growth Partners PLC’s chief executive, Paul Bresnihan, said: “When I launched in May 2017, there was just me. Since getting an HR business partner onboard and securing office space in September our business has rapidly grown. At the end of 2017, we were at six employees, and now we have already employed 30 new recruits with plans to generate over 120 more jobs by the end of 2018.”

As for the location, Mr Bresnihan added: “We chose Colton Square because we loved the feeling of being in one of Leicester’s renowned historic landmarks - the old Police station - whilst having a refurbished, modern feel. The proximity to the city centre, as well as the train station, is also a bonus with Leicestershire’s three fantastic universities within easy reach.”
