Hotel chain Travelodge has announced a recruitment drive which will see the company hire over 900 new employees before Christmas 2017.

850 new jobs will be created at hotels across the UK, with full and part time vacancies to be made available for receptionists, cleaners, hotel team members and bar cafe team members.

A further 21 Travelodge head office jobs are up for grabs at Thame in Oxfordshire, with new positions being created within HR, IT and finance departments.

Travelodge will also be trying to fill four maintenance engineer vacancies along with 55 hotel management and assistant hotel management positions too.

In total, Travelodge will be looking to recruit 930 new staff before the festive break, with 120 vacancies to be created at six new hotels in London, Bath, Inverness, Melksham, Newcastle and Redhill.

Explaining that there are no dead end jobs at the hotel chain, Chief Operating Officer at Travelodge, Craig Bonnar, said: “At Travelodge a job is for life and not just for Christmas. We are currently recruiting for 875 permanent positions throughout the UK which includes positions in six of our forthcoming new hotels.”
