Greene King To Create Almost 100 Pub Jobs In Aberdeen

A new Greene King pub restaurant is set to create almost 100 Aberdeen jobs when it opens close to the city’s airport.

Work is already underway on the ‘Farmhouse Inns’ branded Greene King at Dyce Farm on the ABZ Business Park near Aberdeen Airport and the pub and carvery should be open and ready to serve customers as early as next month.

In total, the new Greene King pub restaurant will create 90 catering jobs, with 30 part time vacancies and 60 full time positions to be filled by the managers. Some of the vacancies have already been filled but there are still dozens of positions which students in Aberdeen could apply for.

A variety of bar and kitchen shifts are up for grabs at Dyce Farm, with breakfast being served from six in the morning and an onsite crew of specialist bakers cooking up homemade cakes at the pub.

John Tracey, general manager at Dyce Farm, said: “I can’t wait to see Dyce Farm come to life and finally open its doors to the public. There’s been a significant investment from Greene King and I’m sure the food offering is going to be a big hit with both locals and visitors.”

“We’re on the look-out for dynamic, hard-working individuals for various positions at the Dyce Farm,” added Mr Tracey.
