Dozens Of New Hotel Jobs Coming To Alton Towers

Alton Towers has announced plans for new CBeebies-themed accommodation at their theme park in a move that will create dozens of hotel jobs at the Staffordshire attraction.

The new four storey, 76-bedroom CBeebies Land Hotel for younger children will open next year and bosses say the accommodation will generate up to 90 full and part time jobs at Alton Towers once it is fully up and running.

Recruitment for the new Alton Towers’ jobs will get under way early next year with successful candidates starting in their new roles during Summer 2017. A range of roles will be advertised with receptionists, room attendants, cleaners and catering staff all to be on offer.

Commenting on the theme park recruitment drive, Alton Towers’ senior recruitment manager, Kerry Alcock, said: “The new CBeebies Land Hotel is a huge development for the resort and the roles on offer present an exciting opportunity to be part of this.”

“We will have a variety of positions available across the hotel from housekeeping to assistants in the CBeebies Town Restaurant. It really will be a fun, exciting and unique place to work,” added Ms Alcock.

Working in theme parks can be a fantastic way for students and other young people to spend their summers. You’ll be working in an environment where everyone is having fun and you’ll be learning new skills all the time (as well as earning money, of course!).

And, needless to say, it isn’t just hotel jobs which are advertised at UK theme parks, there’s a whole host of other roles on offer - everything from retail and merchandising jobs to ride attendants and cleaning staff.
