Finance Firm To Create 100 New Call Centre Jobs In Sunderland

Choice Future Planning, a financial planning firm, has announced expansion plans which will see the company create over 100 new full or part time call centre jobs in Sunderland.

Choice Future Planning provides financial advice and instruments to people aged over 50. The company is rapidly expanding its headcount, recently adding 20 new jobs to take its employee level to just over 50 members of staff.

A further 40 call centre jobs will be added by Choice Future Planning before the end of this year, more than doubling its workforce over the course of 2016. The company then expects to create a further 40 jobs in the first half of next year, by which time it will provide jobs for more than 130 people in Sunderland at its contact centre in West Quay Business Village.

Sunderland City Council has supported the creation of the 100 new call centre vacancies at Choice Future Planning, recently providing them with a grant of £400,000 to grow their business.

Adrian Holland, Director of Choice Future Planning praised the council’s efforts, saying: “We received great support from the City Council. The business investment team was excellent. They worked really hard with us to find the right premises and assisted in negotiating the move.”

Some of the new jobs at Choice Future Planning in Sunderland will be customer relationship manager roles, with Mr Holland adding: “These are premium, well paid careers that offer a good salary and structured progression. We also offer a pension scheme, free gym membership and discounts with retailers. We really want to look after our staff.”

Councillor Harry Trueman, Deputy Leader of Sunderland City Council, said: “We’re delighted Choice Future Planning is bringing new jobs to the city and are pleased to have played a part in the company’s expansion, by helping it to find the base for its future growth. We wish the business all the best in its new headquarters and look forward to continuing to support it. Sunderland is a can-do city and we have a great track record in supporting new and expanding business working here.”
